Recently, TREASURE appeared on SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show,” following their recent comeback with “YELLOW.” During their appearance, they confirmed the news of an early contract renewal with YG.

When asked whether currency exchange rates affect their earnings, the members candidly responded, “There is a difference, but it’s not always in a good way.” They also confirmed the news of their early contract renewal with YG, drawing attention.

Regarding their new song “YELLOW,” they explained, “It’s a song that expresses the warmth of love through the color yellow,” and revealed that member Asahi participated in writing and composing the track.

TREASURE debuted on August 7, 2020, and if the group had signed a traditional contract with YG, then their original contract would have ended in August of 2027. The news of their contract renewal surprised fans.
