Famous Agency Is Debuting A Co-Ed Group, A Very Rare Thing In The Kpop Industry

THEBLACKLABEL is debuting a co-ed group!

On June 9 at midnight KST, the agency released several teasers introducing the members of ALLDAY PROJECT and revealed the group is set to debut on June 23.

The concept is rather rare in the industry, besides the co-ed currently active group KARD, there aren’t many agencies that debut co-ed groups. The concept has already gained attention among netizens.

The group consists of five members: Annie, Tarzzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo, three girls and two boys. The agency describes the project as a special collab between five talented artists.

Several of the introduced members are already well known among kpop fans, this includes Woochan, who was a trainee in HYBE’s pre-debut group Trainee A. He had also made a name for himself initially appearing in ‘Show Me The Money 6‘.

Youngseo was also a former HYBE artist and had made it into the final lineup of the current popular group ILLIT but dropped out before the group’s official debut.

Not only that, but many speculate that member Annie is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group. This group is one of the biggest conglomerates in South Korea. Its been reported that Annie is the granddaughter of the chairwoman Lee Myung Hee.

And member Tarzzan, real name Lee Chae Won, is a known Korean model and dancer who had previously made several appearances in many famous kpop groups music videos, this includes NewJeans’ “Supernatural” MV, i-dle’s “I DO” MV, and Hong Suk Chun’s ‘Jewel Box.’

And the last member, Bailey is a well-known Korean American dancer and choreographer.

With very popular already well-known members, many netizens are excited to see what kind of charms the new project shall bring.
