19-Year-Old Kpop Idol Loses His Father At His Young Age, Fans Send Their Condolences
YG boy group TREASURE member So Jung Hwan’s father has passed away.
On the 21st of August, YG Entertainment announced through its official channels that So Jung Hwan’s father passed away on August 17th. The agency stated that the funeral was held quietly, attended only by close family, relatives, and members of TREASURE, at the request of So Jung Hwan and his family.
They also requested warm condolences and understanding to allow So Jung Hwan to take some time to grieve with his family.
So Jung Hwan, born in 2005, debuted with TREASURE in 2020. The group released the digital single “King Kong” in May and held the “Relay Tour [Reboot] Final in Seoul” on the 15th of the same month.
