Veteran Kpop Duo Renews With SM Again, Continuing Partnership Of Over 20 Years

TVXQ is embarking on the next chapter of their journey with SM Entertainment, continuing their deep bond with the company.

Having debuted in 2003, TVXQ has built a strong foundation of trust with SM over the years, leading to their contract renewal. With SM’s full support, the group is set to take another leap forward in their career.

Expressing his thoughts on the renewal, Yunho shared, “It feels deeply meaningful to continue my connection with SM, which has been with me since my debut. TVXQ will always do our best to showcase great performances in various fields for the fans who constantly shower us with love and support.” Changmin added, “It’s truly significant to have walked this path with SM for over 20 years. Celebrating their 22nd debut anniversary this year, TVXQ has solidified their status as one of Korea’s most iconic artists, contributing to the global K-pop wave with legendary hits such as “Hug,” “Rising Sun,” “Mirotic,” “Keep Your Head Down,” and “Rebel.” Beyond their group activities, both members have also showcased their talents across various fields, including music, acting, musicals, and variety shows.

Additionally, TVXQ will hold a nationwide live tour in Japan from April 25 to 27, with performances at Tokyo Dome. By doing so, they will break their own record of “the most Tokyo Dome performances (33 shows) and the most nationwide dome performances (92 shows) by a foreign artist,” further cementing their legacy. As TVXQ and SM continue writing new history together, global fans eagerly anticipate what’s next.
