TWICE’s Chaeyoung And Zion.T Shut Down Breakup Rumors
TWICE‘s Chaeyoung (Son Chaeyoung, 27) and singer-producer Zion.T (Kim Hae Sol, 37) have denied rumors that they broke up.
On August 14th, both sides’ agencies issued an official statement, drawing a clear line that “the breakup rumors are completely unfounded.” They continued, “We’ve confirmed with the artists themselves, and the two are still on good terms and continuing to have a lovely relationship.”
Earlier that day, one outlet reported that Chaeyoung and Zion.T had broken up, claiming the two had grown distant due to their busy schedules and had ended their relationship. Shortly after the report, Chaeyoung’s agency, Real Fantasy, told Ten Asia, “It’s the artist’s personal life, so it’s difficult to confirm,” but both sides later confirmed the facts directly with the artists and officially denied the breakup rumors.
They also warned of legal action against the spread of false information. They stated, “Both agencies will continue to monitor closely to prevent baseless speculative articles, false information, or malicious posts from damaging the artists’ reputations,” adding, “We want to make clear that we will respond with strong legal action against sensationalized reporting or the spread of unconfirmed claims.”
Chaeyoung and Zion.T’s relationship was first confirmed in April 2024, when both sides acknowledged they were “getting to know each other with romantic interest.” The two, who are ten years apart in age, reportedly met through a mutual acquaintance and grew closer before becoming a couple.
