Beloved Kpop Idol Suffers The Loss Of His Father At The Age Of 19

TWS’s Jihoon has lost his father.

On January 12, TWS’s agency Pledis Entertainment announced, “We regret to share the sad news that the father of TWS member Jihoon, who had been battling an illness, passed away yesterday evening (January 11) after his condition rapidly worsened.”

The agency continued, “Jihoon is currently staying at the funeral hall, and the funeral will be held privately with family and close relatives in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family.” They added, “We kindly ask for warm consideration and support so that Jihoon can have sufficient time to mourn together with his family.”

Lastly, the statement said, “We extend our deepest condolences to Jihoon and his family. May the deceased rest in peace.”

TWS, the group Jihoon belongs to, attended the “40th Golden Disc Awards” held at the Taipei Dome on January 10.
