TXT’s Soobin To Sit Out Of His Group’s MAMA Performances Plus All End-Year Award Shows Due To Health
After worrying fans after not showing up to the airport with the rest of his group members ahead of the 2024 MAMA Awards, Big Hit confirms Soobin is taking a hiatus for the time being!
Big Hit Music announced on November 19 via Weverse that Soobin, a member of Tomorrow X Together (TXT), will temporarily suspend his activities to focus on his health.
According to the agency, Soobin has recently been experiencing health issues and was advised by medical professionals to take adequate rest and recover.
Soobin will not be participating in upcoming schedules, including the MAMA Awards, offline fan events in Japan, the “ACT: PROMISE ENCORE IN JAPAN” world tour, and the Shanghai fansign event. The agency apologized to MOAs (the fandom) for the sudden news and asked for their understanding.
Meanwhile, TXT is set to perform at Japan’s NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen on December 31, making them the only K-pop boy group to participate this year.

Recently, Soobin experienced signs of poor health and sought medical attention. Following a thorough examination, he was advised to take sufficient rest and recovery time.
