On January 5, The 39th Golden Disc Awards helds day 2 of the award ceremony, this day is devoted to the album division. This year’s ceremony is pre-recorded due to the Jeju air tragedy. The decision was made to delay the award show release date out of respect to the victims of the tragedy.
Due to this, day 2 of The 39th Golden Disc Awards broadcast has been pushed back to January 7. This year’s ceremony is hosted by Sung Si Kyung, Cha Eun Woo, and Mun Ka Young.
