Xdinary Heroes’ Gunil Departs The Group After Contract Termination With JYP Entertainment

Idol band Xdinary Heroes (XH) member Gunil is leaving the group.

JYP Entertainment stated on August 13th, “We extend our deep gratitude to the fans who have cherished and supported Xdinary Heroes, and would like to share an update regarding member Gunil’s future activities,” adding, “Regarding the recent matter concerning member Gunil, we deeply recognized the gravity of the situation and held thorough discussions with the artist from multiple angles. As a result, we determined that it would be difficult for him to continue with the team, and have decided to terminate his exclusive contract by mutual agreement.”

The agency continued, “Gunil will leave Xdinary Heroes effective today and conclude his activities with the team. We sincerely apologize for the sudden news and for any concern this may have caused our fans. Xdinary Heroes will continue moving forward as a five-member group going forward. We will do everything we can to support the remaining members so they can focus on their music activities with stability.”
