YG Entertainment Issues Apology To Fans Over Zero-Visibility Seats Sold At BLACKPINK’s Recent Concert

YG Entertainment has issued an official apology over the “zero-visibility” N3 section controversy at BLACKPINK‘s concert.

On July 7, YG released a statement saying, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to those who experienced difficulties viewing the stage from the N3 section during last weekend’s BLACKPINK concert.”

They continued, “A console was installed in front of the section, which obstructed the view. To address this, we extended the LED screens to improve visibility for the audience, but unfortunately, it caused discomfort contrary to our intentions. We will take follow-up measures for those who reported inconvenience. Further information will be provided through the ticket vendor.”

The incident occurred during the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE> IN GOYANG” held on July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City.

The controversy erupted after attendees in the N3 section found their view completely blocked. While the section was positioned to face the stage directly, a large screen had been installed right in front of it, making it impossible to see the performers at all.

There was no prior warning. Though the ticketing site did note, “There may be sightline obstructions due to equipment,” attendees argue this wasn’t a matter of partial obstruction but complete visual blockage. Tickets for the section were priced at around 130,000 won [$95]. Fans who sat there reported they were unable to see the members for the entire two-hour show and are now demanding refunds.
