Another Popular Idol Calls Out One Hundred’s Sub Label Over Unfairly Terminating His Contract And Demanding Millions Of Dollars In Damages

Singer Yong Jun-hyung has publicly shared his dispute with his agency Black Made through social media, a company that falls under a sub label of One Hundred.

On June 20, Yong posted on his Instagram Story: “On the day my album was released last year, the agency suddenly called me in and said, ‘We’re expanding our businesses and need to restructure labels, so we’ll terminate your contract unconditionally.’”

He continued, “When I said I was confused and taken aback, they suddenly changed their tune and said, ‘Let’s continue working together.’ Then a month or two later, they told me to leave the company.”

Yong also claimed, “They told me to pay back investment money from the distributor and the damages they had assessed, even though I never agreed to that or had any discussion about it. They cited various clauses in the contract as reasons, but I’ve never done anything to violate it.”

He expressed frustration, saying, “They just made up a figure in the tens of billions of won and told me to pay and leave? I can’t accept that. I asked them to fulfill their management duties as agreed, but they’ve since gone silent. So who is the one actually breaking the contract?”

Yong Jun-hyung founded the independent label Black Made in October 2022. The agency is a subsidiary of Big Planet Made Entertainment, home to artists such as Lee Seung-gi and SHINee’s Taemin. This agency is a sub-agency of One Hundred who is home to many artists including THE BOYZ.

This story has gained attention as former THE BOYZ’s member Ju Haknyeon fought back against his label denying he agreed to leave the group or his agency after meeting with a former Adult video Japanese star. The idol explained he did meet her but no prostitution was exchanged, he’s also promised to fight this in court and sue the malicious reports that made such claims about him.
