The Sweet Female Kpop Idol Who Accompanied Fellow ASTRO Members To Send Off Cha Eun Woo To The Military

Singer and actress Choi Yoojung made headlines after being spotted at Cha Eun Woo’s military enlistment site.

On July 28, Choi Yoojung shared a message on social media saying, “Come back safely and in good health,” along with a photo. The picture featured ASTRO members, Cha Eun Woo, and Choi Yoojung all posing playfully together.

Choi Yoojung and ASTRO are under the same agency, Fantagio. Despite the hot weather and her busy schedule, she personally showed up at Eunwoo’s enlistment site, proving their close bond as labelmates.

Cha Eun Woo officially enlisted for active duty on the same day and will be serving in the army’s military band. The day before, he appeared on a YouTube livestream where he showed off his short haircut and shared, “It’s surreal that this day has come. This is the shortest my hair has been since I was around two or three years old,” adding, “I’ll return in good health. I hope luck follows you in everything you do.”

Since debuting with ASTRO in 2016, Cha Eun Woo has released hit songs like “Breathless” and “Confession.” Known for his stunning visuals, he rose to global fame and has taken on acting roles in dramas like “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” and “Wonderful World.”

Cha Eun Woo is scheduled to be discharged on January 27, 2027. Despite his military hiatus, fans can still look forward to upcoming releases, including a new album in September, the Netflix series “The Wonderfuls”, and the film “First Ride.”
