Popular Korean Singer Shocks With Sudden Marriage Announcement

Singer Younha is set to become a bride this March.

On March 5, a representative from Younha’s agency, C9 Entertainment, confirmed to Newsen, “She will be holding a private wedding at the end of March, attended only by family and close relatives, with her non-celebrity fiancé.”

The agency added, “As this pertains to the artist’s private life, we ask for your understanding that we cannot disclose further details. We hope for your warm congratulations.”

Earlier that day, Younha personally shared the surprising news with fans through her official fan café. She shared a handwritten letter to convey the happy news.

She wrote, “I picked up my pen because there’s something I wanted to tell Holics (her fans) first. I have met a strong and dependable partner and will be getting married. Thank you for always worrying about me sincerely and for your endless love. Now, as a more grounded and stable Younha, I will continue to support and encourage your lives. Please cheer for my new journey ahead.”

Born in 1988, Younha is 36 years old. Last year, she celebrated her 20th debut anniversary by releasing her 7th full album, ‘GROWTH THEORY,’ along with its repackaged version, ‘GROWTH THEORY: Final Edition.’
