Report Alleges That Not All Of ZEROBASEONE’s Members’ Agencies Agreed To Extend Their Contracts Ahead Of Disbandment, WAKEONE Responds
ZEROBASEONE members are currently in discussions for a contract renewal.
On the 12th of August, JoyNews24 reported that ZEROBASEONE had already reached an agreement with some agencies and members to extend activities and has now entered detailed negotiations. They are expected to conclude discussions and make an official announcement soon.
In response to the report, their agency WAKEONE told MyDaily, “WAKEONE highly values ZEROBASEONE’s potential and growth prospects. Accordingly, since the beginning of this year, we have been in ongoing discussions with each member’s agency regarding whether to extend the project group’s activity period.”
ZEROBASEONE is a nine-member boy group formed through the Mnet audition program “Boys Planet,” which ended in 2023, and debuted in July of the same year. As a project group with a contract duration of two years and six months, they are scheduled to disband on January 10, 2026.
