Member Of Famous Boy Group Apologizes To Fans Because Of His Tattoo, Why?

ZEROBASEONE member Park Gun Wook has apologized to fans after a clip went viral of the idol with a new tattoo. But why would he do that?

Recently, a photo of the members of ZEROBASEONE hanging out at a pool in LA caught fans’ attention. Fans noticed in the photo that member Gun Wook had a tattoo on his side rib, many expressed surprise since it wasn’t there a while back.

Later, the idol himself talked about the situation via a voice live broadcast.

He admitted to having got a tattoo and said, “I did get a tattoo and the reason I couldn’t tell you before is… well, last year I said that if I were to get one, I would tell you. But to be honest, its not much to boast about. But there are also fans who are minors, this made me question whether it was right to tell you this. I didn’t get it last year, I got it around March of this year. I just couldn’t tell you right away because I wasn’t sure how [to do it].”

Turns out that some fans expressed shock because the idol had told fans he’d tell them if he got a tattoo. He added, “a part of me feels upset. In the end it was revealed against my intentions. It happened because someone took a photo of me without my consent and posted it.”

He also explained that he never meant to hide it, he said, “I didn’t mean to hide this from you. For me, Its a meaningful tattoo. Its linked to my family. The meaning is precious to me. Its hard to explain what it means and all of that and I got it somewhere you can’t see it easily. Its on my lower back ribs. Its only there for me to see it.”

Many fans feel bad for the idol as he seemed apologetic that it got revealed like that.
