ZEROBASEONE member Park Gun Wook has bowed his head in apology amid a controversy over alleged manipulation.

The reason Park Gun Wook uploaded this apology is because he became embroiled in controversy over allegedly manipulating a Polaroid giveaway event during a recent fan signing. At the time, he was seen revealing a winning number different from the one he had drawn, angering fans who were present at the event.

Following the intense backlash, Park Gun Wook posted a lengthy message on a fan communication platform, saying, “I am posting this message because I sincerely want to apologize for my actions at the recent fan signing event.”

That day, Park Gun Wook stated, “At the venue, I should have been more careful in my judgment and actions, but I wasn’t. I take very seriously the fact that I caused confusion and hurt to many people because of that. I sincerely apologize to those who were confused and hurt due to my shortcomings.”

He continued, “Even though I have always treasured the feelings and support that fans send me, I am sorry that I was unable to show a side of myself worthy of those feelings. I will not take this matter lightly and will sincerely reflect on my actions.” He added, “I am once again sorry for disappointing Zerose, who supported and trusted me throughout this album promotion. I also want to apologize to our ZEROBASEONE members and the staff who work hard alongside us.”
