Singer and actor Cha Eun Woo revealed his feelings after Moonbin passed away.

On the most recent episode of tvN’s show ‘You Quiz On The Block’, Cha Eun Woo appeared as a guest.

On this day, Cha Eun Woo expressed his longing for his member Moonbin, who suddenly left the group last year, along with his affection for the other ASTRO members.

Cha Eun Woo revealed his affection for the ASTRO members, saying, ” Our members are all very nice and good people, so we overcame everything through our relationship and unity.” He added, “But because the focus was on me, I felt guilty, sorry, and physically exhausted. I slept for about 3 hours a week. I could endure it because the members were such good friends, and I felt a responsibility to let people know about the team.”

Then, he cautiously mentioned Moonbin, saying, “Last year was a tough year for me. I wrote the lyrics for this album, and I really wanted to tell my story. People forget too easily. It’s sad. I thought about what meaningful and memorable way I could remember. So I wrote the lyrics.” He explained why he wrote the lyrics for a song and said, “I felt too guilty. He sometimes appears in my dreams. When someone asks, ‘Are you okay?’ I don’t want to say whether I’m okay or not. So the direction and method of my life that I chose is to do better. Let’s live better. So I’m working hard.” He added, “I think I should think that I have to carry it for the rest of my life and I should live even harder. I have to live well for Bin’s share. I thought that if I pulled myself together and worked hard, my surroundings wouldn’t collapse. The company said I could take a break, so I started ‘Wonderful World.'”

Cha Eun-woo expressed his thoughts, saying, “I feel like I have to hold it forever, so I think I should live even harder. Moonbin should live his share (of life) well. I thought that if I gathered my thoughts and worked hard, my surroundings wouldn’t crumble. The company said I could take a break, but that’s why I ended up doing ‘Wonderful World’.” Finally, he concluded, “Moonbin, are you doing well? I miss you. Don’t worry. I’ll do my best to fulfill the role even beyond your share. Let’s meet again.”

On the other hand, Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on April 19th, 2023, at the age of 25. Last month, Cha Eun-woo and the ASTRO members paid tribute to Moonbin in various ways on the first anniversary of his passing.
