HYBE Distributes A Press Release Ahead Of Min Hee Jin’s Press Conference Claiming She Consulted A Shaman For Every Major Decision Regarding NewJeans And More

HYBE has distributed a shocking press release to Korean media outlets just ahead of the press conference Min Hee Jin is holding as of this writing!

HYBE stated, “In the process of the audit, a very important fact was discovered” related to the charges against CEO Min Hee Jin, and “the investigation revealed that Min Hee Jin has been following the instructions of a female shaman regarding personnel affairs, hiring, and other major company management matters.”

HYBE’s position is that they have obtained lengthy conversation logs between Ador CEO Min Hee Jin and the shaman who claimed to be a close acquaintance, through forensic analysis.

According to HYBE, “In the conversation log, ‘Jiyoungnim 0814,’ an older shaman than Min Hee Jin, refers to Min Hee Jin as ‘unni’ (sister) and continues the conversation by stating that Min Hee Jin should ‘bring the company within three years.’ The shaman also said, ‘For the next three years, I will help you,’ and mentioned, ‘I will bring it like a corporate merger within exactly three years. I will accomplish everything within three years.’ Min Hee Jin consulted the shaman about establishing a joint venture, stock options, and establishing a new label. The timing of Min Hee Jin’s active movement for corporate control coincides with the time the shaman was coaching. Min Hee Jin also discussed the timing of selling HYBE shares with the shaman.”

Additionally, HYBE claims they discussed the issue of military service for BTS members with the shaman. HYBE stated, “When Min Hee Jin asked if BTS members should go to the military, the shaman replied, ‘They should.’ Min Hee Jin then said to the shaman, ‘It would be better for them to go to the military than to me.’ When asked, ‘What do you think?’ the shaman replied, ‘I’m going to send them. It’s not like they won a gold medal,’ implying a ritual act. Then Min Hee Jin reiterated the request, saying, ‘It would be beneficial for me if they were not here.'”

HYBE further stated, “It has been confirmed that Min Hee Jin was deeply involved in daily management activities and committed personnel-related irregularities.” HYBE claimed, “The confirmed irregularities include personnel solicitation and personnel movement information leakage, and the leakage of personal information of job applicants. The shaman introduced the job application of Mr. Park, a guest, to Min Hee Jin’s personal email, and Min Hee Jin proceeded with Mr. Park’s recruitment process through Vice President Shin. Even though Min Hee Jin sensed that it would be problematic, he said, ‘Do you have to write that you were introduced by M (the shaman’s business name)? You should just send the email quickly. Sending an email like this, introducing yourself, is foolish.’ Despite this, when the recruitment process proceeded normally, Min Hee Jin discussed with the shaman which duties to assign to Mr. Park among the management and rookie group managers.”

HYBE continued, “The evaluation of applicants who were in the middle of the interview process was also conducted with the shaman. Most of the applicants who received positive evaluations from the shaman were hired, and some were confirmed to be employed by Ador. Furthermore, during the process of reviewing the transfer of some HYBE employees from other departments, they shared the personal information of the subjects with the shaman and conducted evaluations together.”

HYBE stated, “There is also a section in the conversation log where Min Hee Jin and the shaman perform rituals targeting HYBE executives. When Min Hee Jin received ‘tteok’ (rice cakes) made in the shape of a head from the shaman to her home, she asked, ‘Will it calm the children if they eat this? What kind of help is there?’ In response, the shaman said, ‘They will become very sober.'”

According to HYB’s  position, disparaging remarks about the management also appeared. HYBE stated, “When Min Hee Jin said of HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, ‘No, he doesn’t have basic skills; he just imitates and copies,’ the shaman advised, ‘Because imitating can make money, learn it.’”

HYBE stated, “Ador also received a review from the shaman. Initially, CEO Min Hee Jin had consulted the shaman several times about whether to use ‘Alljoy’ or ‘Ador’ as the name. When the shaman said that ‘Ador’ was better, it was immediately adopted.”

Furthermore, they also claimed that derogatory remarks about the trainees they would nurture were made to the shaman.  

According to Hybe, “According to the conversation logs, Min Hee Jin had known about ‘Jiyoungnim0814’ of M fortune-telling shop located in Gangnam Yeoksam-dong since before 2017. Afterward, she received management coaching through social media conversations. It was confirmed that the CEO of this company, Mr. Lee, is listed as an internal director of a corporation called M Partners established in August 2021. The shaman is registered as an internal director of this company. The CEO, Mr. Lee, also operates a service company called M Consulting under the same name. It was confirmed that M Consulting had previously billed Ador for cleaning expenses for Min Hee Jin’s personal workshop.”

HYBE also alleges that the CEO of the shaman shop is listed as an internal director of a company called M Partners, where the shaman is also registered as an internal director. Furthermore, the CEO operates a service company called M Consulting, which had previously billed Ador for cleaning expenses related to Min Hee Jin’s personal workshop.

HYBE stated that they had also demanded confirmation of this in the audit questionnaire sent to CEO Min Hee Jin on the 22nd, but CEO Min Hee Jin denied all of this in the response received on the 24th. HYBE stated that they confirmed the facts through lengthy conversation logs obtained through information asset audits based on reports.

A HYBE official stated, “Serious problems, including unmentionable criminal acts, continue to be discovered to the extent that we cannot entrust any more management activities to CEO Min Hee Jin, but CEO Min Hee Jin refuses to respond to any dismissal requests, causing serious disruptions to Ador’s management normalization.”
