CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Steps Down From Talk Show Host Following University Admission Controversy

Following the huge controversy and backlash surrounding CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa who is currently under investigation for being accepted into Kyung Hee University graduate school, FNC Entertainment released more statements.

In the first statement they explain their side of the story and explain why they were taken back and shocked when they found out that CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa was being investigated by the police.





They also claimed full responsibility for the controversy and stressed that it was not their intent to harm Jung Yong Hwa reputation by entering the graduate school program at Kyung Hee University. You can read the entire translated statement here.

FNC Entertainment also released another statement surrounding CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa participation in Olive TV’s talk show “TALKMON.”

His agency released the following statement,

“We would like to address Jung Yong Hwa’s participation in Olive TV’s talk show ‘TALKMON.’

After much consideration, Jung Yong Hwa has decided to step down from the show after having informed the production staff. He will take responsibility for the controversy and would like to avoid burdening the show.

We apologize once again for disappointing the production staff, cast members, and viewers.”

The talk show aired its first episode on January 15, Jung Yong Hwa was one of the main MCs of the show.
