We finally have an actual explanation of why BTS’s performance of “Fake Love” alongside Charlie Puth wasn’t how fans expected it to be.

For the past 2 days, fans have been discussing BTS’s performance of “Fake Love” alongside Charlie Puth, fans noticed that the members seemed awkward, the vocals were also off-key and seemed shaky at times.

The producer of BTS, DOCSKIM personally provided an explanation of what happened and it shows just how professional BTS and Charlie Puth are in real life.

He revealed that “the wrong sound mix was played to BTS during MGA Fake Love Performance.”

This probably means that there were disagreements between the sound engineers of MGA and BTS since what played on stage was completely different from what they had practiced.

This also means that they had to improvise and adapt to the music playing as quick as possible. This is why Charlie Puth especially looked stressed during the performance as well as BTS.

If that’s the case, then it proves just how professional they were during the event.

Here is how it was originally supposed to sound at 01:17:
