Another Popular Actor Added To The Already Star-Studded Cameo List Of Seo In Guk And Jisoo’s Upcoming Drama
Actor Lee Sang Yi will be making a special appearance in “Monthly Magazine Boyfriend.”
According to a JoyNews24 exclusive report on the 1st of August, Lee Sang Yi has made a special appearance in the Netflix series “Monthly Magazine Boyfriend” (directed by Kim Jung Sik). The filming for “Monthly Magazine Boyfriend” has already been completed.
“Monthly Magazine Boyfriend” is a romantic comedy that follows Mi Rae, a webtoon producer exhausted from real life, who begins to experience dating by subscribing to a virtual boyfriend through a romance simulation. Set against a relatable workplace backdrop, the story introduces a unique twist of “romance subscription” in a virtual world, promising a fresh take on love.
Ji Soo plays Seo Mi Rae, the webtoon PD who dreams of a second chance at love in virtual reality, while Seo In Guk takes on the role of Park Kyung Nam, her colleague and rival in the same field. Additionally, big-name actors such as Seo Kang Joon, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Soo Hyuk, Lee Hyun Wook, and Kim Sung Cheol are confirmed for special appearances, drawing major attention. With Lee Sang Yi also joining this star-studded lineup, anticipation for the series continues to rise.
