7 Months After Girlfriend Reveal, Rising Korean Actor Confirms Marriage Plans
Actors Bae Na Ra (34) and Han Jae A (35) are getting married.
According to Bae Na Ra’s agency YY Entertainment on July 16, Bae Na Ra and Han Jae A recently decided to get married and have begun preparations. A representative told SPOTV News, “The exact timing of the wedding hasn’t been decided yet.”
The two, a long-term couple who first crossed paths on a musical stage before becoming romantic partners, are said to have decided to marry based on their affection and trust in one another.
The two have grown their relationship around a shared love of the stage and music, appearing together in the musical “Grease” as well as in “Housewarming Concert” and “Rappaccini’s Garden,” which brought together fellow cast members.
Born in 1991, Bae Na Ra debuted in 2013 with the musical “Promise” and was beloved as a star of the musical scene through works like “Grease,” “Vanishing,” “Thrill Me,” “Wild Grey,” and “Hymn of Death.” He also drew attention in numerous dramas including “D.P.” Season 2 in 2023, along with “Weak Hero Class 2,” “Your Taste,” “Cosmic Merry Mi,” and “Jogak Dosi.” He’s also been growing into a rising star, showing off his down-to-earth charm on MBC’s “I Live Alone.”
Should the marriage go through, he’s expected to become the fourth “I Live Alone” cast member to leave the show due to marriage, following Yook Joong Wan in 2016, Honey J in 2024, and Lee Jang Woo last year.
Born in 1992, Han Jae A stood out for his singing early on, winning the grand prize at the 2003 MBC Children’s Song Festival for “Crescent Moon” and the grand prize in the solo category at the 18th Chorok Children’s Song Festival for “Cloud” that same year. He made his musical debut in 2017 with “Hamlet: Alive,” and has since appeared in “Maybe Happy Ending,” “West Side Story,” “Paris Bakery,” “Winterreise,” “Bronte,” “Hongryeon,” “Burn the Witch,” and “Kinky Boots.” He’ll also take the stage next month in the musical “Blue Flower,” which will hold its premiere run.
