Famous Korean Director Bong Joon Ho’s Upcoming Hollywood Film Reportedly Kept Getting Delayed Because Of This Infuriating Reason

Fans are furious upon learning of the alleged reason why of director Bong Joon Ho’s new Hollywood film ‘Mickey 17’ keeps getting delayed.

Recently, it was revealed that ‘Mickey 17’ is being delayed to January 2025. Mind you, the filming for the movie was completed in November of 2023 and it has been getting delayed continuously since then.

One foreign media outlet named ‘World of Reel’ has reported that the reason behind the delay is because Warner Bros. does not want to release Bong Joon Ho’s final cut and is insisting on a more accessible version, Bong Joon Ho reportedly disagrees with this.

Many fans are understandably upset to learn of this as they wonder why the production company is heavily trying to influence the final product and not give the esteemed director the chance to show the full version he intended of his film.

‘Mickey 17’ stars Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, and more and was supposed to be Bong Joon Ho’s return to the screens for the first time since ‘Parasite’ (2019).
