BREAKING: Kim Sae Ron Found Dead At Age 24

Actress Kim Sae Ron has passed away, and it has been confirmed that the first person to discover her was an acquaintance.

According to the police on the 16th of February, a friend who was supposed to meet the deceased that afternoon found her and reported it.

The police stated, “There were no signs of forced entry or any indications of a crime, but we are continuing our investigation into the circumstances of her death.”
They added, “Please consider the feelings of the deceased and their family, and refrain from speculating about specific details regarding the cause and manner of death. We ask for your understanding as the police are unable to disclose further information.”

In 2022, Kim Sae Ron caused a serious accident while driving under the influence, crashing into a tree and a transformer. This resulted in the transformer being damaged, power outages in nearby stores, and significant disruption in the area. She was later charged with violating traffic laws (drunk driving) and was fined 20 million KRW.

Last April, she attempted to resume her acting career through a theater production but suddenly withdrew due to health reasons, leading to the cancellation of her comeback.

Kim Sae Ron reportedly completed filming for the movie Guitar Man last November. The film, currently in post-production, is based on a webtoon and follows a genius guitarist joining an underground band called Volcano.

Kim Sae Ron debuted in the entertainment industry as a magazine model in 2001 and began acting in films with A Brand New Life in 2009. She gained recognition as a child actress through the 2010 film The Man from Nowhere, where she delivered a remarkable performance. She later appeared in multiple films, including I Am a Dad, The Neighbors, Barbie, A Girl at My Door, Manhole, Snowy Road, and The Villagers. She was also active in dramas such as Can You Hear My Heart?, What Is Mom?, The Queen’s Classroom, High School: Love On, Glamorous Temptation, Mirror of the Witch, Leverage: Fraud Control Operation, and The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim.

However, on May 18, 2022, she was involved in a drunk driving accident near Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, which sparked controversy. Following the incident, Kim Sae Ron remained inactive in the industry and spent time in self-reflection.
