Kim Eun Sook’s Netflix drama “Everything Will Come True” has faced a sudden directorial change as director Lee Byung Hun stepped down from the project.

A Netflix representative stated on the 27th of January, “Director Lee Byung Hun has departed from ‘Everything Will Come True’ due to personal reasons. The post-production process is now being carried out by the production company with the support of experienced staff across various fields.” They added, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot provide further details about the timing or reasons for his departure.”

The drama, which has already completed filming, follows the story of a highly emotional genie of the lamp and a woman who releases him, leading to a whirlwind of events surrounding three wishes. The cast includes Kim Woo Bin, Suzy, Ahn Eun Jin, Noh Sang Hyun, and Ko Kyu Pil.

The project garnered significant attention from its inception due to the collaboration between writer Kim Eun Sook, known for “Secret Garden,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Goblin,” “Descendants of the Sun,” and “The Glory,” and director Lee Byung Hun, acclaimed for “Twenty,” “Extreme Job,” and “Be Melodramatic.”
