Known Actress Reveals Her Boyfriend’s Sweet Reaction To Her Successful Drama
Actress Jung Eun Chae shared an update on her unwavering relationship with boyfriend Kim Chung Jae during her wrap-up interview for “Flex X Cop 2.”
On September 22, Jung Eun Chae spoke about SBS’s “Flex X Cop 2,” which ended its run on the 19th, during an interview held at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
During the interview, Jung Eun Chae shared Kim Chung Jae’s reaction — the two have been openly dating since confirming their relationship in 2024. She said, “Chung Jae and I always respect and support each other’s work,” adding, “He told me he enjoyed watching this project too,” showing off their steady affection and drawing attention.
“Flex X Cop 2,” which starred Jung Eun Chae, is a joint investigation drama in which chaebol detective Jin Yi Soo (played by Ahn Bo Hyun), who uses his wealth to turn the tables whenever a case hits a wall, and new team leader Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae) solve cases in a fun, satisfying way. In the drama, Jung Eun Chae showed off a new side playing Joo Hye Ra, a former ace on the police’s anti-terrorism unit now leading the violent crimes team at Ganghacheon Police Station.
On reactions from those around her, she added, “I don’t have a particularly wide circle of relationships, so I don’t get a ton of feedback,” but “I really feel that the show is being loved when I’m out and about. When people tell me they’re enjoying it, that’s when it hits me.”
Jung Eun Chae and Kim Chung Jae, both born in 1986, went public after dating rumors surfaced in 2024, with both sides confirming their relationship by saying they were “getting to know each other in a positive way.”
Kim Chung Jae had previously shown public support for Jung Eun Chae by confirming he was watching her tvN drama “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born” live as it aired.
