The episode starts with I-Soo visiting his exhibit and stumbling upon many evidence of Seong-Won’s crimes. However, he gets struck from behind badly and the studio is set on fire. The chief finds him and rushes him to the hospital, he undergoes surgery and its unclear when he’ll wake up.
The team attempts to investigate what happened and with the secret team of I-Soo find where Jong-hyun is. They follow him and they see he picked up Seong-Won. Seong-Won’s mother told him to kill her son and frame it as a suicide.
The team gets hurt hunting them down as Seong-Won kills Jong-Hyun and disappears. Hye-Ra decides to confront his mother and explains her son will come for her and kill her. Eventually, she agrees to lead them on so Hye-Ra dresses up as her and ambushes Seong-Won. Seong-Won is shocked once she lured him back to his exhibit and then shoots her, it appears she’s dead until we see I-soo and he triggers him, he begins destroying his pieces and saying his art is trash. Seong-Won goes on a tirade and says its art and the people he killed have become that and that people love all that he does.
All of that is caught on camera and suddenly Hye-Ra gets up, Seong-Won is stunned as this is aired live and he’s escorted in front of the press.
At the interrogation room, he refuses to crack but learns his mom is also there. The mom is with a lawyer and she’s denying everything. Then, I-soo explains that he knows the chief of police knows her and the chief reveals he told her some info.
She gets pressured with that and then her son cracks after they find the hidden bodies of the three people he buried in his backyard. He collapses and exposes his mother too.
A funeral is held for the three victims and the team is rewarded even with a vacation inside South Korea which they take and enjoy to the fullest. However, darkness lurks in the distance and a mysterious man, played by Kim Ji Hoon, is revealed to have been in a room where a lot of I-soo’s pictures are, it seems someone is watching him. He’s covered in blood, and throws a knife at a photo of I-soo.
Then, the team gets a case. They rush to see what it is, its suspected its the mysterious man behind it.
