Korean Actress Who Filed For Divorce 6 Months After Marriage Reconciles With Her Husband
Actress Jung Joo Yeon has reconciled with her husband, from whom she divorced six months after their marriage.
On the 19th of October, the preview for MBN’s entertainment program Dongchimi featured Jung Joo Yeon. In the teaser, she shared, “I came to deliver good news. Last year, there were articles about my marriage breaking down. I thought, ‘Maybe marriage doesn’t suit me,’ and ‘I can’t do this,’ so I packed my bags and went back to my parents’ house. A few months later, we reconciled and are now living well.”
Jung Joo Yeon had married a non-celebrity older than her in March of last year, but they separated after about six months. At the time, the couple had not registered their marriage.
Jung Joo Yeon made her debut in 2009 through Epik High’s Follow Me and has since appeared in dramas like Princess Aurora, Lovers in the Storm, and City of the Sun. With her solid acting skills, she was regarded as a rising star.
