One Of The Biggest Respected Korean Actors, Jung Woo Sung, Reportedly Registers Marriage To Girlfriend Of 10 Years, Agency Responds
Actor Jung Woo Sung is reported to have completed a marriage registration with his non-celebrity girlfriend, and his agency has released a statement.
On the 5th of August, a representative from Jung Woo Sung’s agency, Artist Company, stated through an official position, “Regarding the report related to actor Jung Woo Sung, we ask for your understanding as we cannot provide an official statement at the company level since it is a private matter,” and added, “We ask that you refrain from excessive interest and speculation regarding the actor’s personal affairs.”
Earlier that morning, MyDaily reported through a close acquaintance of Jung Woo Sung, “Jung Woo Sung and his girlfriend have completed their marriage registration.”
As news of the marriage registration spread, the agency released a stance referring to it as a “private matter” and “personal affairs,” but since they did not deny the marriage registration, it is effectively seen as an acknowledgment.
Previously, in November last year, it was revealed that Jung Woo Sung is the biological father of model Moon Gabi’s child, which his agency confirmed on November 24 of 2024. Following that, additional photos emerged of Jung Woo Sung embracing and kissing an unidentified woman on the cheek. Added to that, some women exposed the actor for allegedly sending them DMs on Instagram which his agency also refused to comment on.
Moon Gabi later issued her own statement in late December of the same year, she revealed she never asked for marriage and dispelled several rumors about herself in relation to this.
Around that time, Jung Woo Sung attended the “45th Blue Dragon Film Awards” and stated, “I will take and carry all the blame.”
Meanwhile, Jung Woo Sung is set to release his upcoming Disney+ drama “Made in Korea.”
