Kim Sae Ron’s Former Agency Expresses Condolences Following Her Sudden Tragic Passing

The former agency of the late actress Kim Sae Ron, Gold Medalist, has expressed its condolences over her passing.

According to the Seoul Seongdong Police Station on the 16th of February, Kim Sae Ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, at approximately 5:54 PM. She was 24 years old.

In response, Gold Medalist released an official statement: “We are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news of Kim Sae Ron’s passing. We extend our sincere condolences and may she rest in peace.”

Gold Medalist is also the agency of actor Kim Soo Hyun, with whom Kim Sae Ron sparked a “self-dating rumor” last March after posting a close-up photo of them together on social media. The news of her passing coincidentally broke on Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday.

Notably, despite Kim Sae Ron’s drunk driving accident in 2022, Gold Medalist took responsibility for compensating the victims. On May 18, 2022, at around 8 AM, she caused an accident in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, by crashing into a guardrail, a tree, and a transformer multiple times while driving under the influence. The accident led to a power outage, severely affecting 57 nearby businesses. Gold Medalist covered her penalty fees and compensation costs. However, in December of that year, Kim Sae Ron parted ways with the agency after her contract expired without renewal.
