Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency Refutes Kim Sae Ron’s Family New Accusations Via Their Emergency Press Conference
Kim Soo Hyun’s side has responded to the emergency press conference held earlier today by Kim Sae Ron’s family. They also addressed the voice recording in which Kim Sae Ron says she dated Kim Soo Hyun since the 2nd year of her middle school!
On the 7th of May, actor Kim Soo Hyun (37)’s side responded immediately, stating that the recording released by YouTube channel “Garo Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon),” run by the bereaved family of Kim Sae Ron (25), was fabricated, adding that “we will file a complaint against Gaseyeon immediately.”
Kim Soo Hyun’s legal representative, law firm LKB & Partners, said that the audio file of Kim Sae Ron revealed at Gaseyeon’s press conference “was completely fabricated” and that they believe it was “created using artificial intelligence (AI),” according to their investigation.
The representative stated, “The person who delivered the recording to Gaseyeon also approached Gold Medalist, claiming, ‘There’s an audio file in which Kim Sae Ron makes favorable statements about Kim Soo Hyun.’ This person was a fraud. They demanded money and sent a portion of the recording, which was manipulated. We did not accept any of their demands.”
They added, “The person who provided the recording has no possible connection to Kim Sae Ron. When they failed to deceive Gold Medalist, they colluded with Gaseyeon to release a fabricated audio file.” They continued, “Gold Medalist has identified that the file containing Kim Sae Ron’s voice was forged using AI and is undergoing technical verification. We will share the results as soon as they are available.”
They further stated, “At the press conference, Gaseyeon claimed that the person who provided the recording was attacked under orders from Gold Medalist or attorney Ko Sang Rok. They even showed photos of the alleged attack.” However, the representative countered, “These claims are completely false and cannot be tolerated. They are also hard to believe logically. In fact, the photos presented by Gaseyeon can easily be found through an online search. Gaseyeon and the person who gave them the recording are claiming these internet-sourced images are from the attack.”
The representative continued, “This press conference by Gaseyeon is another fabrication—a cyberattack carried out as Gaseyeon finds itself cornered due to defamation, stalking, cyber sex crimes, and evidence manipulation involving Kim Soo Hyun. Gold Medalist is utterly appalled. This is clear proof that many of Gaseyeon’s claims have been lies and forgeries.”
They added, “Gaseyeon’s acts are a new type of crime using AI and a serious attempt to destroy Kim Soo Hyun’s character with forged evidence. They must face corresponding punishment.” They concluded by saying, “We will immediately file criminal charges for violations of the anti-stalking law and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation).”
On May 7, Kim Se Ui, head of the Garo Sero Research Institute, gave an opening remark during a press conference regarding major crimes allegedly involving actor Kim Soo Hyun, held at Space Share in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Earlier that day, Gaseyeon operator Kim Se Ui and Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family’s legal representative, attorney Bu Ji Seok of the law firm Buyu, held a press conference at Space Share Samsung Station Center in Seoul.
They revealed a portion of a recorded conversation allegedly between Kim Sae Ron and an acquaintance at a Starbucks in New Jersey, USA, on January 10 of this year, which lasted over an hour.
In the audio—recorded using a voice actor—Kim Sae Ron was heard saying, “I dated him (Kim Soo Hyun) starting from middle school, then we broke up after entering college.”
Attorney Bu stated, “The bereaved family has filed charges against Kim Soo Hyun for violating the Child Welfare Act and for false accusation.”
They also claimed, “The informant was attacked with a weapon and nearly lost their life, prompting a formal investigation request.”
