Kim Soo Hyun’s Attorney Issues Additional Statement Addressing The Various New Photos And Videos Released By Garo Sero Institute
Actor Kim Soo Hyun has addressed several new photos and videos posted by Garo Sero Institute via his legal rep, he’s also suing Garo Sero for stalking, similar to what Kim Sae Ron’s family did with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho!
On April 2, the law firm LKB & Partners, which represents Kim Soo Hyun, responded to the claims made by the YouTube channel “Garo Sero Research Institute” (hereafter referred to as “Gaseyeon”) regarding past photos and videos of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron that were released between March 10 and March 31.
LKB & Partners stated, “Gaseyeon has indiscriminately spread photos and videos of Kim Soo Hyun’s face and body, as well as personal letters and messages, through its YouTube channel. The only way to stop Gaseyeon’s ‘cyber wrecking’ actions is through strict investigation and punishment. The claim that Kim Soo Hyun had a romantic relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor is absolutely untrue.”
They also provided a detailed explanation regarding a controversial photo of the two on an alleged home date taken in 2018. Kim Soo Hyun’s side stated, “It is true that the photo was taken in June 2018. The location was Kim Soo Hyun’s apartment in Seongsu-dong, where he lived with his family. Kim Sae Ron visited to spend time with Kim Soo Hyun during his leave, and his family was also present. At that time, the two were not in a romantic relationship.”
Regarding a ski resort photo, allegedly taken between 2015 and 2016, Kim Soo Hyun’s side explained, “It was a group trip to the ski resort with employees of Gold Medalist, and there is also a group photo taken on January 22, 2020, as evidence.”
As for the photos of Kim Soo Hyun cooking at Kim Sae Ron’s home, they stated, “Kim Sae Ron moved to the ‘T’ apartment in Haengdang-dong, Seoul, in January 2020. These two photos were taken in 2020 and have nothing to do with an underage relationship.”
Furthermore, LKB & Partners announced, “Gold Medalist and Kim Soo Hyun have additionally filed a complaint against Gaseyeon operator Kim Se Ui for violating the anti-stalking law.”
Previously, Kim Sae Ron’s family had claimed through Gaseyeon that, based on her messages and letters, Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun had been dating since 2015 when she was 15 years old and he was 27. However, Kim Soo Hyun’s side has denied these allegations, maintaining that they only started dating after Kim Sae Ron became an adult in 2019.
