Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency Explains Why They Denied The Dating Rumors With Kim Sae Ron Twice
The agency of actor Kim Soo Hyun explained the situation regarding the denial and later acknowledgment of the initial dating rumors with the late Kim Sae Ron, answering more questions from the press.
Korean media outlet OSEN revealed on the 14th of March why Kim Soo Hyun’s current agency, as well as Kim Sae Ron’s former agency, Gold Medalist, denied the rumors repeatedly before finally acknowledging them.
Earlier, in March of last year, Kim Sae Ron posted a photo with Kim Soo Hyun on her personal SNS but quickly deleted it. The photo, which was made public, showed Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun closely together with their cheeks touching. In addition, Kim Sae Ron was winking, and it appeared as a very affectionate two-shot that could easily be mistaken for a couple.
Although Kim Sae Ron quickly deleted the photo, netizens were quicker. Even before it was deleted, the image had already spread through various SNS and online communities, causing the dating rumors to spread rapidly.
In connection with this, a Gold Medalist representative told OSEN on March 14, “The two had broken up four years ago by that point. Both Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron, as celebrities, found it difficult to publicly acknowledge something that happened four years ago,” cautiously explaining the situation.
Earlier today, Gold Medalist released a very detailed statement attempting to debunk the rumors of Kim Soo Hyun’s relationship with a minor Kim Sae Ron, including the 700 million won debt. According to OSEN, Gold Medalist plans to issue a formal additional statement expected next week.
