Famous Korean Actor Reveals He Gets Makeup On His Ears, Here’s Why

Actor Lee Jong Suk made viewers laugh by revealing the unexpected habit of getting makeup done on his ears, while saying that the image he actually aims for is that of a “stern macho man.”

At the end of the web variety show “Salon Drip 2,” uploaded to the channel TEO on October 27, a preview of the next episode with Lee Jong Suk as a guest was included.

In the preview, Lee Jong Suk broke the ice right after meeting MC Jang Do Yeon by talking about how they look alike. He said he often hears that he resembles Jang Do Yeon, and the two traded jokes about each other’s looks.

He also brought up a recent episode from the Busan International Film Festival. Lee Jong Suk confessed that when he was on a guerrilla date with broadcaster Ha Ji Young, he hurriedly put on sunglasses as soon as filming started. The reason was that he was so flustered that he felt only the whites of his eyes would show.

He did not hide his shy personality either. Lee Jong Suk said his emotions show right on his face, and revealed that he gets makeup done not only on his face but also on his ears. Jang Do Yeon was surprised and replied, “I’ve never had makeup done on my ears yet.”

However, Lee Jong Suk’s ideal image was the complete opposite. He named a stern, macho style as his ideal image. When Jang Do Yeon asked him to deliver a line with that mood, Lee Jong Suk repeatedly shouted, “So what?” but, contrary to expectations, the studio burst into laughter.

As Jang Do Yeon asked him to switch the same line to a sharp tone, a wistful mood, and more, Lee Jong Suk eventually confessed, “I think it’s better to just get angry,” causing a roar of laughter.

Lee Jong Suk is set to appear in the Disney+ original series “The Remarried Empress”, which is about to be released. He plays Heinley, the prince of the Western Kingdom, and will work alongside Shin Min Ah, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Se Young.
