Actor And Director Lee Yoo Jin Announces Surprise Wedding With Fellow Actress After Falling In Love At First Sight On Set
Amid the news that actor and director Lee Yoo Jin and actress Cha Kyung Eun are getting married, Lee Yoo Jin has been sharing the announcement in an unforgettable way.
On October 6, Lee Yoo Jin posted a video on his Instagram with the caption, “Lee Yoo Jin & Cha Kyung Eun are getting married.”
The video shows the process of Lee Yoo Jin and Cha Kyung Eun preparing for a wedding photoshoot. In particular, while Cha Kyung Eun was having her hair styled, Lee Yoo Jin stayed by her side the whole time, smiling and creating a warm atmosphere.
The two will tie the knot on November 14. Their relationship began on Lee Yoo Jin’s first directorial work, “Cast Me When You See a Way!” Lee Yoo Jin reportedly fell for Cha Kyung Eun at first sight while preparing for the shoot, and Cha Kyung Eun is also said to have felt an attraction to him.
After filming wrapped, the two grew into a couple. Lee Yoo Jin was the first to confess his feelings, and Cha Kyung Eun accepted, after which they began dating with marriage in mind from this past June.
The ceremony will be private, with only both families and close acquaintances invited.
Lee Yoo Jin was born in 1992 and is 35 this year. He is also well known as the son of actress Lee Hyo Jung. Lee Yoo Jin debuted in 2013 with MBC’s “Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire.” He later appeared in “Age of Youth 2,” “Familiar Wife,” “Be Melodramatic,” “Do You Like Brahms?,” and “Three Bold Siblings,” among others. He has also been active in films including “Two Men,” “Dad Is Daughter,” and “I’ll Go Meet You Now.”
This year he also took on directing. He took part in ENA’s short drama directing competition program “Directors Arena” this past May and finished in 2nd place overall with “Cast Me When You See a Way!”
Cha Kyung Eun was born in 1998 and debuted in 2021 with the short film “Peach.” She has appeared in the web drama “PICKGO,” U+ Mobile tv’s “Future’s Future,” and the sketch comedy “Shortbox,” and was a regular cast member on Coupang Play’s “SNL Korea Reboot Season 7.”
