Lim Ji Yeon Publicly Discusses Boyfriend Lee Do Hyun, Sends This Sweet Message To Him
Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun have been enjoying a sweet relationship for two years as the actress recently openly discussed her boyfriend during an interview!
The actress recently spoke about her boyfriend, actor Lee Do Hyun, in an interview with Newsen following the conclusion of the JTBC weekend drama “The Tale of Lady Ok.”
Lim Ji Yeon didn’t shy away from mentioning Lee Do Hyun. The couple first met while working on the Netflix series “The Glory” and officially confirmed their relationship in 2023. With a five-year age gap, they have been publicly dating for two years. Lee Do Hyun enlisted in the military in August 2023, and Lim Ji Yeon has since joined the ranks of girlfriends with boyfriends in the military.
When asked about Lee Do Hyun’s reaction to her drama, Lim Ji Yeon shared, “He’s been diligently watching every episode. His feedback isn’t drastically different. He knows how much I love this project, so he’s just cheering me on, and we both rely on each other a lot.”
Lim Ji Yeon also sent a warm message to Lee Do Hyun, saying, “I hope he stays healthy and has a Happy New Year.”
In a previous interview for the film “Revolver” last August, Lim Ji Yeon had also spoken candidly about their relationship, saying, “Being a gomsin [girlfriend who waits for her boyfriend as he serves in the military] is fine. I hope he stays healthy. We’re a source of support for each other. He even sent me congratulations during the Baeksang Awards.”

Their close bond was evident at the “60th Baeksang Arts Awards” in May last year. Lee Do Hyun, who won Best New Actor in the film category for “Pamyo,” expressed his feelings on stage, saying, “Ji Yeon, thank you.” Lim Ji Yeon later responded, “I was backstage preparing for a presentation when he said that, and I was really grateful.”
When asked about the challenges of public dating, Lim Ji Yeon said, “We got caught, so what can we do? I didn’t reveal it myself.. We don’t interfere much in each other’s work, but it’s comforting to have someone cheering me on.”
