MBC also announced that the live broadcast of the “2024 MBC Drama Awards” has been canceled and will be replaced with a recorded broadcast.
The network stated, “In light of the deep sorrow affecting the nation following the recent accident, we decided to cancel the live broadcast to join in mourning and extend our condolences to the victims and their families. This decision was made out of respect for the victims and to share in the grief of their families.”
MBC requested viewers’ understanding and noted that details regarding the recorded broadcast schedule and award announcements would be shared later.
