After Subduing Burglar Who Broke Into Her Home, Nana Announces Return To Activities
Nana is set to resume her activities.
On the 26th of November, Nana’s agency Sublime stated on its official SNS, “Although Nana went through a difficult time due to the recent incident, thanks to the warm support and encouragement sent by fans, she intends to resume her activities.”
They continued, “Scheduled advertisement shoots and other schedules will proceed without changes, and the album, photobook, and other projects promised to fans are also being prepared as planned. We deeply appreciate the unwavering support and love toward Nana, and ask for continued interest and support in the future.”
Nana suffered a robbery attempt around 6 a.m. on the 15th at her home located in Guri, Gyeonggi Province. A man in his 30s, referred to as A, is accused of breaking into Nana’s home, threatening the residents with a weapon, and demanding money. At the time, Nana and her mother were inside the house, and the two subdued A after a physical struggle and immediately reported it to the police. A has been sent to the prosecution on charges of aggravated robbery causing injury.
On the day of the incident, Sublime stated, “A robber carrying a weapon broke into Nana’s residence. The robber entered the house with a weapon, and it was a very dangerous situation in which Nana and her mother could have suffered serious harm.”
They added, “Due to the burglar’s physical attack, Nana’s mother suffered a severe injury and lost consciousness, and Nana also sustained physical injuries while escaping the dangerous situation,” saying that she was in need of treatment and rest. Regarding A’s injuries, Nana and her mother were not booked, as their actions were deemed self-defense.
