Netflix’s “Bloodhounds” Confirms 2nd Season + Rain Joins Cast In His 1st Ever Villain Role

Netflix has officially greenlit the production of “Bloodhounds“ Season 2, revealing an exciting cast lineup.

The second season of the Netflix series “Bloodhounds” follows Woo Do Hwan (as Gun Woo) and Lee Sang Yi (as Woo Jin) as they take on a global illegal boxing league, delivering another round of satisfying straight punches after defeating a vicious group of loan sharks in the first season.

Woo Do Hwan, with the heart of a righteous boxer, and Lee Sang Yi, reckless but courageous, return to take down an international illegal boxing syndicate. While fans eagerly anticipate the return of the duo, attention is also drawn to Rain’s dramatic transformation as the season’s villain.

Woo Do Hwan reprises his role as Gun Woo, a young man dreaming of becoming a boxing champion. Having entered the world of loan sharks to pay off his mother’s debts, he clashed fiercely with the merciless Park Sung Woong (as Myung Gil) in the first season. In Season 2, Gun Woo faces life-and-death battles against a group conducting illegal gambling through boxing on a global scale.

Lee Sang Yi once again plays Woo Jin, Gun Woo’s reliable partner and a boxer with a Marine Corps spirit. Together, they promise fiery and dynamic action chemistry in the upcoming season.

Adding to the excitement, Rain takes on the role of Baek Jung, a global villain. Baek Jung is a character with overwhelming power, capable of destroying even world boxing champions. He employs all means necessary to lure promising boxer Gun Woo into the dark league. This marks Rain’s first villainous role in his 20-year acting career, further heightening anticipation.
