Famous Japanese Actor Surprises With Marriage Announcement One Year After Two-Timing Controversy

Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro has announced his marriage, one year after a two-timing controversy broke out surrounding his private life.

On September 6th, Sakaguchi Kentaro informed fans that he is “marrying a non-celebrity woman I’ve been dating.” His agency also confirmed the marriage. However, no details about his bride’s identity were disclosed.

Sakaguchi Kentaro’s private life became the subject of controversy in September 2025 after a two-timing scandal broke out. According to Japanese media at the time, Sakaguchi Kentaro had reportedly been dating and living with a hair and makeup designer three years his senior for four years. However, allegations of two-timing surfaced after it was reported that he was also having a close relationship with actress Nagano Mei.

Whether Sakaguchi Kentaro’s new wife is the same person linked to him in last year’s dating rumors has not been revealed.

Sakaguchi Kentaro, born in 1991, debuted in the entertainment industry as a model in 2010. He drew attention in South Korea for starring in the 2024 drama “What Comes After Love.”
