Seo In Guk, Park Hyung Sik, Ma Dong Seok And More Confirmed For Korean Drama About Super Heros
The 12-animal zodiac-based series “Twelve,” which will unfold a vast universe, has unveiled an adrenaline-filled cast lineup.
The series “Twelve” is a fantasy action blockbuster about 12 guardian angels who live in the human world in human form to protect humans from demons, depicting a massive battle against forces of evil attempting to unlock sealed powers.
“Twelve” has revealed the casting for the 12 guardian angels, boasting perfect sync and synergy. Global actor Ma Dong Seok will play “Taesan.” Taesan, with absolute power, protects the world as the tiger angel and is the leader of the 12 guardian angels. He harbors the spirits of the four angels symbolizing the ox, rabbit, sheep, and rooster, who sacrificed themselves in a past battle, and now lives hidden in the human world.
Seo In Guk will portray “Won Seung,” the monkey angel. Seo’s character is a nimble trickster aspiring to succeed Taesan as the next leader. Lee Joo Bin will play “Mir,” the dragon angel, who has lived with her powers sealed after a battle with demons centuries ago.
Park Hyung Sik will make a refreshing transformation as “Ogui,” the demon who challenges the angels with brutal strength. Representing the crow, Ogui reappears in the human world with his unsealed powers, posing a severe threat to the angels.
Go Kyu Pil will transform into “Don Yi,” the pig angel. Don Yi, working as a nurse at a Korean medicine clinic, aids the snake angel Bang Wool and impresses with unexpected agility in combat. Kang Mina will play “Gang Ji,” the dog angel, known for her sharp agility in battle and warm heart for protecting humans.
Sung Yoo Bin will play Jwi Dol, the rat angel, a key figure in the activities of the 12 angels with his quick judgment. Actress An Ji Hye will portray “Mal Sook,” the horse angel, showcasing dazzling action sequences.
Rising actress Regina Rei will debut as Bang Wool the snake angel, who, with ancient medical knowledge, treats her colleagues when attacked by demons and plays a vital role. Veteran actor Sung Dong Il will play “Marok,” the only human granted special abilities by the gods and the 12 angels’ manager. Marok supports and protects humans and the world alongside the angels.
“Twelve,” showcasing a unique universe inspired by the battle of good and evil based on the East Asian zodiac, already piques curiosity about the diverse transformations of the actors.
