Highly Anticipated Kdrama Comeback Of GOT7’s Jinyoung Teases Famous Actors’ Cameo Appearances

The director of “The Witch” revealed that several top actors will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming drama!

On the morning of the 11^th of February, a press conference for Channel A’s new weekend drama “The Witch” was held. Attending the event were lead actors Park Jinyoung, Roh Jeong Eui, Im Jae Hyuk, Jang Hee Ryung, and director Kim Tae Kyun, who shared stories about the drama.

“The Witch” tells the story of Mi Jeong (played by Roh Jeong Eui), a woman labeled as a witch after the men who love her end up hurt or dead. She is cast out of her village but is saved from the curse of death by Dong Jin (played by Park Jinyoung), a man determined to protect her. It’s a life-risking mystery romance drama directed by Kim Tae Kyun, who previously helmed the film “Dark Figure of Crime.”

Director Kim Tae Kyun said, “This drama is a collection of all my personal connections. I reached out to actors I know and asked for their help. There are key turning points in Dong Jin’s emotional journey and main objectives. Whether it’s explaining his data-mining job or encouraging him not to give up at moments of despair, these characters are essential despite their short screen time. I thought it was crucial for familiar and recognizable actors to play those roles.”

He continued, “There will be surprise appearances by notable actors in each episode. One of the hottest actors right now, Ju Ji Hoon appears in the first episode. He plays a character that demonstrates Dong Jin’s data-mining abilities. He even brought a coffee truck to the set.”

He also mentioned, “Actor Jin Seon Kyu, whom I adore, plays a very important role. Every episode will have a surprise appearance by talented actors, giving viewers something extra to enjoy.”
