Is Netflix Ditching Their Famous Drop Schedule For This Kdrama? IU And Park Bo Gum’s Drama Will Not Be Released All At Once
Netflix will not be releasing IU and Park Bo Gum’s drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines” all at once as they’ve always done with Kdramas, instead, it will be gradually released on the course of four weeks.
Netflix has confirmed that the series “When Life Gives You Tangerines” will be released over four weeks starting on the 7th of March and revealed the first-look stills.
The series tells the story of rebellious Ae Soon (IU), born in Jeju, and the stubborn yet devoted Gwan Shik (Park Bo Gum), unfolding their adventurous lives across four seasons. It is composed of four acts—spring, summer, fall, and winter—depicting a radiant life story.
The first-look stills show a young Ae Soon in a school uniform with a pouty expression and Gwan Shik looking at her. Ae Soon, who stands tall without backing down from anyone, and Gwan Shik, who stays by her side, add to the intrigue with just a single frame. The anticipation grows for their adventurous journey and how two characters, so vastly different, will share their story.
“When Life Gives You Tangerines” will release one act per week over four weeks, each covering a different season of life. Each week, four episodes will be revealed, portraying life’s four seasons in a profound and lasting way. Featuring not only IU and Park Bo Gum but also seasoned actors like Moon Sori and Park Hae Joon, the series promises to deliver a touching story that resonates across generations and connects with viewers of all ages.
“When Life Gives You Tangerines” premieres exclusively on Netflix on the 7th of next month.
