Comedian Kim Soo Yong Who Collapsed During Video Shoot And Needed CPR, Regains Consciousness After Being In Critical Condition
Comedian Kim Soo Yong suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed during a YouTube shoot, leading to his emergency transport to the hospital.
His agency Media Lab Siso stated on the 16th of November, “Kim Soo Yong has received treatment and regained consciousness. He is currently resting and recovering. We will do our best for his quick recovery.”
On the 14th of November, Kim Soo Yong collapsed while filming YouTube content in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Emergency rescue workers immediately arrived at the scene and performed CPR and other emergency procedures, and he was urgently transported to the emergency room at Hanyang University Guri Hospital.
At the time, he had no breathing and no consciousness and was in a critical condition, but he regained consciousness thanks to the medical staff’s swift measures, and he is currently in the intensive care unit resting while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Yong debuted in 1991 through the first KBS College Gag Contest and began his career as a 7th-generation KBS comedian. Recently, he has been active on the YouTube channel “Jodongari” with Kim Yong Man and Ji Suk Jin.
Following this incident, fans have expressed their support by saying, “We hope he prioritizes his health,” cheering for his quick recovery.
