Beloved Korean Singer And Variety Star Announces He’s Becoming A Father One Year After Marriage
Singer Kim Jong Min has shared the news that he’s becoming a father just one year after his marriage.
His wife has entered her 17th week of pregnancy, and he revealed that he stayed away from alcohol and took care of his health for a year in order to have a child.
On the October 7 broadcast of KBS2’s “The Return of Superman,” MC Kim Jong Min will personally reveal the news of his wife’s pregnancy.
On the episode, Kim Jong Min will say, “I’m going to be a dad,” and reveal, “My wife is now 17 weeks pregnant.”
After marrying a non-celebrity wife 11 years his junior last year, he has been preparing to have a child, and he shows his joy at becoming a father-to-be.
Notably, he shares that he even changed his lifestyle while waiting for a child. Kim Jong Min will say, “I stopped drinking and took care of my health for a year in order to have a child,” adding, “Thanks to that, I think the baby came to us quickly.”
He will also reveal the moment he first learned of his wife’s pregnancy, the baby’s dream omen, and the baby’s gender.
Kim Jong Min, who has watched the daily lives of parenting families as an MC of “The Return of Superman,” will now share the story of his own child.
Co-host Lalal and the production team also sent their congratulations. The production team said, “Co-host Lalal and the whole production team congratulated MC Kim Jong Min on the news of his child,” adding, “We hope you look forward to the new side of Kim Jong Min as a father-to-be, who has closely watched the stories of parenting seniors through ‘The Return of Superman.'”
