Comedian Lee Jin Ho Collapses Due To Brain Hemorrhage, Receiving Treatment In Intensive Care Unit
Comedian Lee Jin Ho (40) has collapsed due to a brain hemorrhage and is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
On the 9th of April, his agency SM C&C stated, “Lee Jin Ho was suddenly hospitalized on the afternoon of the 1st due to a brain hemorrhage and is currently in the intensive care unit,” adding, “He is currently regaining consciousness and focusing on treatment. His life is not in danger.”
They continued, “As the artist’s recovery is the top priority, we ask for your warm support so he can focus on regaining his health.”
Lee Jin Ho debuted in 2005 as a special recruit comedian on SBS and gained popularity with his “Woong’s Father” character, later appearing in shows such as “Comedy Big League.”
He is currently on hiatus due to allegations of illegal gambling and drunk driving. He was sent without detention to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office in September last year on charges of participating in illegal online gambling multiple times. In the same month, he was also handed over to prosecutors for drunk driving about 100 km from Incheon to his residence in Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province.
