Comedian Lee Jin Ho’s Girlfriend Who Reported His DUI Revealed To Have Passed Away
Comedian Lee Jin Ho’s (39) girlfriend has been found dead.
According to the Incheon Bupyeong Police Station on the 10th of October, at around 8:30 a.m. on the 5th of October, a woman, referred to as A, was found dead in an apartment in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, by an acquaintance who then reported it to 112.
After conducting a forensic examination, police found no signs of external intrusion or foul play, stating, “We are investigating the exact cause of death.”
A was identified as the girlfriend of comedian Lee Jin Ho, who was recently booked for violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
Lee Jin Ho is accused of driving under the influence from Incheon to Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, in the early morning of September 24. His blood alcohol concentration at the time was 0.11%, which is grounds for license revocation.
Earlier, an entertainment outlet reported that “the person who reported Lee Jin Ho’s drunk driving incident at the time was his girlfriend, A.”
A police official stated, “We are investigating the exact cause and circumstances of A’s death, and at this point, no evidence of a crime has been found.” It has not yet been confirmed whether an autopsy will be conducted.
Meanwhile, after being caught for drunk driving last month, Lee Jin Ho halted all his broadcasting activities. He apologized, saying, “I committed an inexcusable mistake for any reason. I deeply reflect on my actions and will take time to self-reflect.”
