Beloved Korean Singer Opens Up About The Physical Abuse He Suffered On The Hands Of His Homeroom Teacher In High School

Singer DinDin has opened up about the discrimination and physical abuse he says he experienced from a homeroom teacher during high school, revealing it ultimately led him to drop out and study abroad in Canada.

Recently, DinDin reflected on his time studying in Canada through his personal channel while sharing painful memories from his school days.

Recalling his first year of high school, he said, “On the very first day, my homeroom teacher declared, ‘Every year, I make five students drop out,’ creating an atmosphere of fear.”

According to DinDin, discriminatory treatment followed afterward, including bag inspections that targeted only certain students. He explained that he was unfairly singled out and physically assaulted multiple times.

He especially recalled being beaten even while resting in the nurse’s office because he was sick.

“He beat me for ridiculous reasons,” DinDin said while describing the shocking experience.

He also shared that he was blamed for mistakes made by the class president and was assaulted again in the teachers’ office.

“When I got home and looked at my school uniform, I burst into tears,” he recalled emotionally.

Eventually, the situation became unbearable. DinDin said his father told him not to return to school, and he ultimately decided to drop out before leaving for Canada to study abroad about a month later.
