Kim Jong Min has gotten married last night in a lavish ceremony, lets talk about the wedding!
On April 20 at 6 p.m., Kim Jong Min tied the knot with his girlfriend, who is 11 years younger than him, at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Before the ceremony, he spoke with the press and shared his thoughts on getting married.
Kim Jong Min expressed, “I’m really excited, a bit nervous, and feeling a strange mix of emotions. It’s my first time doing this, so I’m excited and also feel hopeful that a new kind of life is ahead.”
He also shared how people around him reacted when he told them the news. “When I said I was getting married, people’s reactions were quite different,” he said.
“Those who are already married were really happy for me and congratulated me a lot, but guys my age or older who are still single gave me congratulations… but I felt like their mouths weren’t actually smiling. It seemed like they were envious, with reactions like, ‘You’re going before me,’” he added with a laugh.
Mentioning his groupmates, he said, “Shinji and Baekga seemed to get the vibe that they might be next after seeing me get married. I’m hoping that if I’m getting married now, they’ll have good news of their own soon too.”
Who hosted Kim Jong Min’s wedding?
The wedding ceremony was hosted by Yoo Jae Suk in the first part and Moon Seyoon and Jo Seho in the second. Singers Lee Juck, TVXQ and Lyn performed congratulatory songs. Kim’s bride-to-be, born in 1990, is a businesswoman reportedly resembling actress Kim Ji Won.
