Beloved Korean Comedian Nam Chang Hee Surprises With Marriage Announcement During A Radio Appearance

Comedian and broadcaster Nam Chang Hee has suddenly announced his marriage.

Nam Chang Hee shared the news of his marriage on the February 2 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Yoon Jung Soo & Nam Chang Hee’s Mr. Radio.”

During the show, Nam Chang Hee told listeners, “I have something to tell you,” adding, “I promised before, and now I’m officially off the market.”

He continued, “The reason I’m announcing the marriage on February 2 is because our promised date is February 22,” and said, “Over the long seven years of meeting Miracle (the listeners’ nickname), I’ve grown a lot. From now on, as the head of a family, I will grow into a more generous and dependable person.”

Nam Chang Hee previously officially acknowledged his relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend through the radio in July 2024. At the time, he said, “We’ve been dating for about a year. I’ll take care of my love life on my own. If there’s a good result, I’ll let you know. I ask for quiet support.”

Meanwhile, Nam Chang Hee debuted in 2000 through SBS’s “Happy Saturday Star School” and has been active in various entertainment programs such as “Hidden Singer 7,” “Korean Table,” and “Silbi House.” He has also pursued acting through dramas including “My Love From the Star,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and “The Empress of Tears.”
